Evacuation of People in Dortmund
In Dortmund, Germany, an evacuation is taking place on January 12 due to suspicions of World War II-era bombs being present. This was reported on the city's official Twitter account. The announcement states, “One of the largest evacuations in the city’s history is currently underway in Dortmund,” indicating that around 14,000 people will be affected by the evacuation.
The evacuation has disrupted the normal rhythm of city life, with the main train station being closed. In total, it is believed that four bombs are involved in this situation.
