Roads Closed and Impassable in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia informs that as of January 12 at 08:15, there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.
The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult for trucks to navigate. There are patches of black ice on the Sisian-Goris road. Fog is observed in the town of Goris, Syunik Province.
According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
