The Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, visited Zvartnots Airport. He shared this information on Facebook with the following message:
"Very soon, with the entry of European budget airlines into the Armenian market, we expect a significant influx of tourists to Yerevan. Naturally, the city must be prepared to welcome guests in a way befitting Yerevan. The gateway of a modern city is the airport—the first impression tourists have of our country. Today, I visited Zvartnots, where, accompanied by the airport management, I familiarized myself with the operational conditions and challenges of the facility."
