Ten or More Residents Evacuated from Student Dormitory

Today, on January 10, a major fire broke out in the Lori province. Around 17:40, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call reporting a fire at building 14 on Student Street in Vanadzor city.

According to Shamshyan.com, firefighters evacuated more than ten residents from the building, including children, and medical personnel from Vanadzor Hospital provided first aid to everyone on-site.

Preliminary information indicates that all victims suffered from smoke inhalation. The building is used as a dormitory, and the fire started on the 4th floor.

Currently, firefighters from the Lori province, under the guidance of the head of the provincial rescue service, Colonel Serob Gabrielian, are monitoring the situation. They have prevented the spread of the fire and are now working to extinguish it completely. The cause of the fire will be determined after a series of investigations.
