President Attends Opening of Prestigious Doha Forum

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, attended the opening of the prestigious Doha Forum in Doha today, at the invitation of Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of the State of Qatar. President Sarkissian is also expected to deliver a speech at the forum's plenary session.

This prestigious forum brings together political and economic leaders from around the world, representatives from international organizations, and experts, and this year it is being held under the theme 'Reassessing Governance in a Multipolar World.'

Among the participants of the forum are Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, the President of the UN General Assembly, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, and Rwandan President Paul Kagame. Approximately 250 speakers from various countries and around 3,000 participants will discuss the trends in the rapidly changing world and the creation of effective governance systems that meet contemporary demands over the course of the two-day forum.

Among the forum's partners are notable international organizations such as the Munich Security Conference, Chatham House, and the International Crisis Group.
