Gas Pipeline Damaged in Arinj Village; Rescuers on Duty

On December 12, at 11:49 AM, the "911" service received a report that a gas pipeline had been damaged on 8th Street in the Abovyan neighborhood of Arinj village, with a gas leak present.

A firefighting and rescue squad from the Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that an accident had occurred at the intersection of 8th and 11th Streets in the Abovyan neighborhood, where a "Howo" vehicle (driven by Kamo M.) collided with the gas pipeline, causing damage. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

The rescuers have been on duty until the arrival of the gas emergency service personnel, who have since stopped the gas leak.
