Company Director Faked Official Documents: NSS Disclosure
The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has uncovered a case of preparing and selling counterfeit official documents that affirm legal facts and grant rights. This was reported by the NSS press service.
As a result of extensive operational-investigative measures and investigative actions, it was revealed that the director of a company operating in Armenia had forged legal documents through photocopying methods for the purpose of sale. The forged documents included certificates for "driving a vehicle equipped with a gas cylinder" and "compliance of the gas cylinder system installed on the vehicle," each sold for 2,500 AMD to citizens from Russia and Kazakhstan arriving in Armenia to purchase a vehicle, without actually installing gas cylinder systems on their vehicles.
Additionally, another Armenian citizen engaged in car imports acquired counterfeit technical inspection slips from an unidentified individual, paying 1,000 AMD for each, which were then sold for 4,000 AMD each to citizens from Russia and Kazakhstan arriving in Armenia to buy a car.
A criminal case has been initiated by the NSS Investigative Department under the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code regarding the apparent crime. An investigation is underway.
Notice: The suspect or accused in the alleged crime is considered innocent until proven guilty in accordance with the procedure established by the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia, through a legally enforceable court ruling.
