Child in Critical Condition After Eating Peanut, Says Derzyan

On the day before yesterday, a 1.5-year-old boy was transferred to the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center after experiencing asphyxiation and losing consciousness while eating peanuts at home.

The parents immediately took the child to the nearby "St. Gregory the Illuminator" Medical Center, where cardiac arrest and respiratory failure were recorded, and necessary resuscitation measures were undertaken. This information was provided by the medical center's spokesperson Gevorg Derzyan.

The child was transported to the intensive care unit of the "Holy Mother of God" Medical Center in critical condition. Currently, the situation remains extremely critical; the foreign object has been removed from the bronchi, but the child is still in a comatose state and is connected to a ventilator. Doctors are fighting for the child's life, providing intensive treatment to maintain all vital functions of the organism.
