Two Stabbing Incidents Occurred in Yerevan Within One Hour

Today, December 9, two stabbing incidents occurred in Yerevan within the span of one hour. At around 02:45, a call was received at the Kanaker-Zeytun police division from the number 1 university hospital, reporting that a citizen had been admitted with a "stab wound to the chest and back." According to shamshyan.com, at approximately 03:00 on the same day, another call was made to the Kanaker-Zeytun police division from the Mikaelyan Institute of Surgery, stating that a citizen had been brought in with a "penetrating wound to the chest leading to the abdomen, stab wound."

The police have determined that the injured individual, who according to doctors is unable to provide an explanation regarding the incident, is 27-year-old Ishkhan S., a resident of the village of Arzni in the Kotayk region, who sustained injuries as a result of a stabbing.
