Snow Falls in Jermuk: Roads Passable as of 20:00

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of December 9 at 20:00, the roads across Armenia are mostly passable.

The Sotk-Karvachar highway and the Vardenyats mountain pass are open for all types of vehicles, while trucks are permitted to use the route only with chains.

Black ice is present in certain areas along the Sotk-Karvachar highway, Vardenyats mountain pass, and the Saravan-Zanger section in the Syunik region.

On the Yerevan-Ashtarak highway, fog can be observed in the cities of Armavir and Charencavan in the Armavir and Kotayk regions.

In the Vayots Dzor region, it is snowing in the city of Jermuk.

According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Northern Ossetia EMERCOM of Russia, the Stefantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
