Police Prevent Suicide Attempt of 31-Year-Old Man from Davtashen Bridge

On December 6, at 16:18, the "911" service received a report that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping off the Davtashen Bridge.

Rescue teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's Fire and Rescue Department in Yerevan, an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center, and a psychological support instructor from the psychological counseling division were dispatched to the scene.

Before the responders arrived, police officers prevented the suicide attempt of 31-year-old Yovhannes A. (born 1988) and transported him to the Mashtots police station.
