Why Didn't You Speak Up About Amulsar for 5 Years? They Said the Former Authorities Would Arrest Us, Says Pashinyan

In connection with the situation regarding Amulsar, we said, 'Dear people, for 5 years all of this has been happening right in front of your eyes, why didn't you raise your voice?' This was stated today, December 5, during a government meeting by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

'They said they would arrest us, the authorities were brutal, we would be subjected to persecution. Do you want to say that in Armenia, normal relationships can only be established through the use of brute force? Is that what we want? If we resolve issues following bribery, corruption, and our narrow group interests, then all of this will be understandable. This form of relationship is absolutely unacceptable. This is an attempt to roll Armenia back into another logic,' he stated.
