Mamedyarov Does Not Back Down from His Written Position

Suren Sargsyan writes on his Facebook page: "Azerbaijan states: 1. The first step must be the complete and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories of Azerbaijan. 2. In the next phase, Azerbaijan envisions the resolution of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh within Azerbaijan’s framework, in accordance with the Constitution and legislation of Azerbaijan. 3. The Armenian ambassador to the OSCE states that Azerbaijan's positioning is a sign of weakness. 4. I also say it is not a sign of weakness; it is an ultimatum. They are moving towards a military solution. There is no need for negotiations with Iran; it does not provide anything for them. 5. Ministers meet and negotiate. 6. Mamedyarov does not back down from his written position (at least in the public sphere). 7. After 3 hours of negotiations, they agree to meet again. 8. The media is first informed by the Azerbaijani side. Yes, and most importantly, 'Azerbaijan does not see a political solution to the conflict outside the outlined borders.'
