Why Tsarukyan Halted Construction of Apartment Buildings in Abovyan
The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports that Gagik Tsarukyan has halted the construction of 13 apartment buildings intended for newly formed families in Abovyan. These 900 apartments were meant to be allocated to newly established families at cost prices.
The reason for this halt lies in the disagreements between Tsarukyan and the authorities. Urban development bodies had intended to fine the builder 700 million drams for allowing minor deviations from the project.
Tsarukyan expressed a desire to use this amount to build a school and kindergarten for the new neighborhood, but the authorities rejected this proposal as well. Following this, construction was suspended.
