Breaking: Pashinyan Discusses Charges Against Serzh Sargsyan
Today, December 4, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan spoke at the National Assembly regarding the charges filed by the Special Investigative Service (SIS) against the third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan.
“I can only say what has been published in the media. The investigation will clarify everything. I cannot provide any further details beyond what is already known. Do you remember the fuel subsidy program for agriculture in Armenia? Our government closed that program because we believed it was corrupt and did not provide any real benefits to farmers. We were criticized for that decision. Now it turns out that a competition is being announced for the subsidy program for oil products, and during the bidding process, a low price is offered. According to the materials, Serzh Sargsyan instructs a state body to purchase fuel not from the company with the lowest bid, but from a company whose name, I am sure, means nothing to any of you. That company's name is 'Flash',” joked Pashinyan.
