«Zhoghovourd»: Soldiers Had a Dispute; One Shot the Other, Thought He Killed Him, Then Committed Suicide
«Zhoghovourd» newspaper reports:
In the last week, there has been a second shocking death case in the army, which occurred in one of the military units located in the northeastern direction of the Defense Army. Yesterday at 06:50, 21-year-old Arthur Ajamyan received a fatal gunshot wound, while 20-year-old serviceman David Melikbekyan was injured.
According to information obtained by the newspaper, the soldiers had a dispute, and the only theory is that Arthur shot at David and thinking he had killed him, then shot himself. David sustained serious injuries but did not die.
As the high command of the army will be interested in why such tragedies are happening without a handover among soldiers, «Zhoghovourd» has uncovered new details regarding the suicide case of a soldier found hanging from a tree at the Dilijan training center on November 26.
The newspaper has learned that the rope with which Vahan Musheghyan hanged himself did not belong to the military unit, and it was bought from one of the construction material shops located on Komitas Street in Yerevan.
