"168 Hours": Garik Sargsyan Awards Himself 1 Million Drams After Barber Incident
"168 Hours" newspaper writes that recently, when the attention of many, including law enforcement agencies, was focused on Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan, a brawl occurred between him and a barber who refused to "settle in the cage" (which was also confirmed by the barber's father), the question of his dismissal has been discussed among various groups in society. Upon returning to work from vacation, he awarded himself 1 million drams on the same day.
Incidentally, in the same order, the governor also generously included a 100% bonus for his deputy, Artavazd Nazaretian. The next day, it is said that the governor reconsidered his decision when he noticed that a considerable amount of gossip about his potential dismissal was spreading within the staff, and he attempted to win over some employees at the expense of the budget.
He summoned Lilit Mirzakhanyan, who has effectively become the head of the staff, and instructed her to distribute 100% bonuses to all staff members except for the two individuals who filed a lawsuit against him.
