Social Affairs Ministry Suspends Citizen's Pension and Demands Return of Previous Payments to State Budget
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia has unjustly suspended the pension rights of a former aviation technician, Kh. Sh., and has demanded the return of more than 604,580 AMD previously received as pension payments.
Following a request for legal assistance from Kh. Sh. to the legal office of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a complaint was filed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs to contest the decision. In response, the ministry informed our client that he should not return the amount of 604,580 AMD to the state budget.
Our office continues to fight legally for the restoration of Kh. Sh.’s long-term service pension.
