Driver of 'Spayka' Company Truck Tows Huge Wooden Electric Pole
A remarkable incident occurred recently in the Gegharkunik Province. Officers from the 1st platoon of the 4th company of the 2nd traffic police battalion noticed during their duties that a truck registered under 'Spayka' company was towing a massive wooden pole along the 58 km mark of the Yerevan-Sevan highway.
The traffic police followed the driver for approximately 400 meters and then signaled him to stop. Upon stopping, they informed the driver of the reason for the vehicle’s detention. The driver claimed he had not noticed how the pole, covered in electrical wires, ended up on his truck.
Currently, officers from the 2nd traffic police battalion's 4th company, led by platoon commander Edgar Suslyan and squad commander Vruyr Gabrielian, are determining the section of the road from which the truck 'embraced' and tore away the wooden electric pole.
