Fire Erupts in Karahunj Village: Firefighters on Duty

On November 30, at 15:57, the "911" service received information about a fire that broke out at the end of the village of Karahunj in the Syunik region. 

A firefighting team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 17:55, covering an area of approximately 4000 square meters of vegetation.

Due to darkness and difficult terrain, firefighting efforts were suspended. Duty has been established by rescuers and village residents. Three residents of Karahunj also participated in the firefighting efforts.
