Auto Importers' Meeting with Mashadyan Yielded No Results
The president of the Union of Auto Importers, Tigran Hovhannisyan, announced at the conclusion of the meeting with the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee, Rafik Mashadyan, that no issues have been resolved, and they have arranged to meet again, reports news.am.
Tigran Hovhannisyan proposed that inspections be halted until January 1 in order to discuss and understand how to resolve the existing problems.
Rafik Mashadyan noted that auto importers are initially falsifying their acquisition documents. "Let’s establish from the outset that you are acquiring the vehicle for $2,000 and by presenting a fraudulent invoice or not presenting it at all, you pay less tax upon entering the country," he said.
