Yerevan Municipality Announces Open Competition for March 1 Victims Memorial Project
The Yerevan Municipality announces an open competition for a memorial dedicated to the victims of March 1. The memorial is intended to be created in the form of a bronze relief, which will be installed in the Children's Park bordered by Zakiyan, Beirut, and Grigor Lusavorich streets.
The conceptual design of the memorial will be limited to the combination of outlines of hands and recognizable body forms, excluding figurative representations and portrait-like similarities. The title of the memorial, 'In Memory of the Victims of March 1, 2008,' will be engraved on the top of the supporting platform.
