The film Joker has surpassed The Dark Knight in terms of global box office revenue, crossing the $1 billion mark just six weeks after its release. This was reported by Box Office Mojo.

With a revenue of $1 billion 18 million, Joker has exceeded The Dark Knight's earnings of approximately $1 billion 5 million by nearly $13 million.

If the film generates an additional $63 million, it will also surpass The Dark Knight Rises.
