We Must Address the Issue, Not Fall into the Mire and Plead for Salvation from God: Petrosyan

Gevorg Petrosyan, a deputy from the Prosperous Armenia Party, stated on his Facebook page: 'My esteemed opponents, you say that a fake agenda is being brought to the National Assembly because there are no cases of same-sex individuals adopting children. First of all, who has verified whether there are any or not? Everything is just beginning. The Istanbul Convention is being introduced precisely for this reason. If we are to be guided by your logic, what relevance does the piracy offense have in the Armenian Criminal Code when Armenia has no sea (there are issues related to surrender there, it's a long story)? Wise ones, we must address the issue and not fall into the mire, and then plead for salvation from God.'
