Triple Champion of Thai Boxing Ashot Bolyan Murdered in Moscow

The triple champion of Thai boxing (according to the World Professional Association of Kickboxing) Ashot Bolyan has been murdered in the southwestern part of Moscow. This was reported to TASS by a source within the law enforcement agencies.

"On the evening of the day before yesterday, the 40-year-old athlete left his home on Nakhimov Avenue and proceeded to his car, where an unknown person opened fire on him several times, including hitting him in the head, and fled the scene," the agency's interlocutor said.

This information has been confirmed by Yulia Ivanova, an official spokesperson for the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Moscow. "A criminal case has been initiated by the Investigative Committee under Article 105 Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ('Murder') and Article 222 Part 1 ('Illegal Possession of Weapons') of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the representative stated. "According to the investigation data, on the evening of November 13, near a residential building located on Nakhimov Avenue, an unknown person opened fire on a man born in 1979, who died at the scene."

Investigative actions and operational search measures are being carried out to detain the person involved in the crime.

According to open sources, 40-year-old Ashot Bolyan is a triple world champion in Thai boxing according to the World Professional Association of Kickboxing and a 17-time champion in various international competitions. He led the Global Association of Armenian Sports Federations. Additionally, he was the general director of 'Karat' LLC, registered in Moscow, which is related to the sports sector.
