Identity of the Person Who Transferred Items to Inmate via "Kyalla" Revealed

On November 7, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Shirak province. At around 16:30, employees of the Ministry of Justice’s penitentiary service at the "Artik" correctional facility discovered a mobile phone hidden in the mouth of a boiled cow's head (referred to as "kyalla" in colloquial terms) being transferred to an inmate by a visiting relative. Additionally, a subscriber card for a mobile phone was found inside the head, and a pair of "Alcatel" branded earphones hidden in the skull.

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a white, viscous substance with a pungent odor was found in the cranial part of the "kyalla". The items were discovered by the staff at the Artik prison, and it was also established that the boiled cow's head had been brought to the facility in an Opel taxi.

The media outlet reports that, in the interest of the investigation, it will not disclose who brought the boiled cow's head to the prison.
