«Zhamanak». The 102nd Military Base Will Remain in Armenia for Another 10 Years
«Zhamanak» newspaper reports that according to its sources, during Russian President Vladimir Putin's official visit to Armenia next autumn, a contract will be signed not only regarding the strengthening of the Russian 102nd military base but also to extend its stay in Armenia for another 10 years.
It is worth noting that the agreement on the Russian 102nd military base in Armenia was signed in 1995 for a duration of 25 years, and in 2010 it was extended until 2044, with the possibility of reassessment another ten years later, in 2020.
