Websites of Unknown Origin Spread Information That Harutyunyan Has Resigned: Clarification
The Information Verification Center has issued a statement: “Several websites of unknown origin have released information claiming that Araik Harutyunyan has been dismissed from his position. The authors of the material, referencing a post by a fake user on the internet, assert that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has already signed the decision to dismiss Harutyunyan. However, the information being circulated does not correspond to reality.
It is worth recalling that an informational campaign had earlier been launched against Araik Harutyunyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, in connection with a performance that took place in the area of the ‘Republic Square’ metro station in Yerevan.
