The Condition of Armenians Injured in Elevator Fall in St. Petersburg is Critical
Two Armenians (G.H. and A.K.) injured in an elevator fall during renovation works at the 18th maternity hospital in St. Petersburg remain in critical condition at Alexandrov City Hospital and Janelidze Emergency Medical Institute. This information was provided by the Armenian Embassy in Russia.
According to the information relayed to the embassy, the condition of the injured individuals remains severe, with multiple open and closed fractures and internal organ injuries. The Armenian Consulate General in St. Petersburg is in constant contact with the medical facilities.
The accident occurred during renovation work at the 18th maternity hospital in St. Petersburg, resulting in injuries to two Armenians. The men sustained multiple fractures and injuries to internal organs caused by the elevator fall. The preliminary cause of the incident is the snapping of the cable during the renovation process. The St. Petersburg Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case.
