If Needed, We Will Do It Again: Pavel Manukyan on the Trial of the Sasna Tsretsi

Members of the Sasna Tsretsi have faced the loss of the homeland, and they made the right choice; if necessary, they will do it again. Pavel Manukyan, a member of the Sasna Tsretsi, stated this during his testimony at the ongoing trial in the Shengavit court of Yerevan on November 6.

“I have personally talked to the Minister of Defense about suspending our political activities, and we are ready to support the state. All our methods have faced the regime's reluctance, outright rejection, and persecution. We were confronted with the loss of our homeland, and we did the right thing; if necessary, we will do it again. If state terror operates against the Armenian people, then dear ladies, those who kill your husbands are not sitting here,” said Manukyan.

It is important to note that criminal cases related to organizing mass disturbances, murder under aggravating circumstances, seizing buildings, vehicles, taking hostages, illegally acquiring, possessing, transporting firearms and military equipment, stealing weapons and military supplies, and intentionally destroying someone else's property have been filed and are under review in the courts.
