In response to the question of whether he was working well before or now, after his salary increase, Aragatsotn Province Governor Davit Gevorgyan stated that there are still many in the provincial government who receive inadequately low compensation for their work.

“Technical workers, clerks, and drivers are receiving 60,000-70,000 drams, and they cannot work effectively,” said the governor, essentially evading the journalist's question. “No employee is compensated according to their workload,” he added.
