Trains in Gyumri Stopped as Locomotive Drivers Go on Strike
The South Caucasus Railways has prohibited journalists from entering the territory of the Gyumri locomotive depot. According to SHANTNEWS.am’s correspondent in Gyumri, all locomotive drivers in the republic have declared a strike today, demanding a salary increase.
In protest, the drivers from Gyumri have gathered at the depot, where security personnel are not allowing journalists to enter, claiming they received the order from the South Caucasus Railways.
