Man's Body Found on Bed with Burns

On October 22, at 15:33, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report to the "911" service indicating that a strange smell was coming from an apartment at 120 Zoravar Andranik Street in Yerevan. The resident did not respond to knocks on the door or phone calls, prompting the need for rescuers.

A firefighting unit from the Yerevan rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. Rescuers opened the apartment door, discovering that the area was filled with smoke.

The fire was extinguished at 16:25. In the bedroom of the apartment, a mattress and an electric blanket were partially charred. The body of Alfred H., born in 1945, was found on the bed with burns.
