Cruelty Towards Animals Criminalized: Law Passed
The National Assembly today passed a bill that criminalizes cruelty towards animals. The votes were distributed as follows: 99 in favor, 4 against, and 0 abstentions.
The author of the bill, Naira Zohrabyan, emphasized that Armenian gampr breed dogs involved in fights will not fall under this law, as this breed requires fighting to remain in a combat-ready condition.
