The Source of Vanetsyan and Khachatryan's Taped Conversation Revealed - Haik Grigoryan

The head of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Haik Grigoryan, addressed the question today regarding whether a more objective investigation can be conducted in the criminal case initiated over wiretaps following the dismissal of former NSS head Arthur Vanetsyan.

“In every case, always, in all cases, an objective, multifaceted, and complete investigation has been carried out, regardless of whether someone is in power or not,” he stated, adding that due to the interests of the preliminary investigation, he would not discuss this case further.

In response to a comment stating that the client is already known, the head of the Investigative Committee responded: “I did not say such a thing. I said that the place from which the conversation was disseminated is known. The preliminary investigation is proceeding normally. Yes, there are several established circumstances, but for the interests of the preliminary investigation, I will not disclose them.”
