Forgetting the profession in a crude manner: this is the price of the general, Arpine Hovhannisyan on Arthur Davtyan

The former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Arpine Hovhannisyan, commented on the arrest of the former Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, Arsen Babayan, stating on her Facebook page: 'A few months ago, there was a remote debate between the now-former Lieutenant General and the Prosecutor of the People, Arthur Davtyan, thanks to me and Pashinyan. This was also one of the subjects of debate: whether to initiate a criminal case, not to mention the inadmissibility of arrest or detention if a pardon act is applicable to the respective article, which is applicable in the case of Arsen Babayan. Forgetting the profession in a crude manner: this is the price of the general. No more, no less. I’m not addressing the Special Investigative Service; no one expects anything from them other than the release of another politically persecuted individual. And they are the support of Nikol Pashinyan...'

It should be noted that Arsen Babayan was arrested based on the report of independent MP Arman Babajanyan, on suspicion of committing a criminal act provided for in part 1 of Article 314 of the RA Criminal Code.
