Car Rolls into Ravine on Goris-Tatev Highway, One Injured

On October 18, at 13:19, the "911" emergency service received a report of a traffic accident on the Goris-Tatev highway, with one injured person requiring rescue assistance.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a firefighting and rescue squad from the regional emergency service was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a "UAZ-469" vehicle (driver: Vrej P., born in 1989) had veered off the road at the 25th kilometer of the Goris-Tatev highway, rolling about 200 meters down a nearby ravine.

Rescuers approached the driver and transported him to an ambulance, where he was hospitalized at Goris Medical Center. Doctors assessed the injured man's condition as moderate.

The rescuers also secured the gas cylinder valve of the vehicle.
