Tragic Incident in Armavir Region: Motorcyclist Dies at the Scene of Collision with Nissan

Today, on October 9, a tragic incident occurred in the Armavir region. Around 18:00, a collision took place on 5th Street in Norapat village between a motorcycle without a license plate driven by 57-year-old Aram Papoyan and a Nissan vehicle with license plate 35 OX 033 driven by 23-year-old Arman Hambardzumyan.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, both the motorcyclist and the driver of the Nissan were taken to the Armavir Medical Center with injuries, where A. Papoyan, failing to regain consciousness, passed away. Meanwhile, A. Hambardzumyan voluntarily went to the Armavir police station after receiving medical assistance.

Witnesses at the scene mentioned that the motorcyclist was also not wearing a helmet.
