No Bomb Found at Gyumri School Number 15 Following Inspection
On October 9, at 10:44 AM, the "911" emergency service received a report regarding a bomb allegedly placed at School Number 15 on Esayan Street in Gyumri, Shirak Province. Urgent assistance from rescue teams was required.
An operational team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, along with a firefighting and rescue squad, promptly arrived at the scene. Emergency personnel and police evacuated the staff and students (411 students and 58 teachers) and secured the area.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the police canine unit conducted inspection operations, and no bomb was found as a result of their search.
