Another Car Accident Occurs on Artashat-Shahumyan Road

On October 9, at 16:44, the emergency services received information regarding a traffic accident in the village of Shahumyan in the Ararat region, with injuries reported and the need for rescue assistance.

A team from the Emergency Situations Ministry's regional rescue service was dispatched to the scene. It was found that a "Land Rover Discovery" vehicle, driven by Serob D., born in 1987, had veered off the roadway and overturned at the 1st kilometer of the Artashat-Shahumyan highway.

Rescuers extricated the driver from the vehicle and brought him to an ambulance. He was subsequently hospitalized at the Artashat Medical Center and later transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center. Doctors assessed his condition as critical.

The rescuers also disconnected the vehicle's battery and shut off the gas tank valve.
