Pashinyan Presents Declaration Adopted at EAEU International Conference

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, read the declaration adopted during the international conference titled 'Transitional Potential of the Eurasian Continent.' According to Armenpress, Pashinyan presented the declaration on October 1, during the conference held in Yerevan.

“The participants of the conference declare that they consider the development of comprehensive economic relations with external partners and unions as a crucial component of the effective functioning of the EAEU, and as a catalyst for the development of the entire Eurasian continent’s transitional potential. The EAEU member states affirm that they continue to make efforts toward implementing a coordinated and harmonized transport policy aimed at creating a unified market for transport services and gradually establishing a single transport space based on principles of competition, safety, accessibility, and other values,” Pashinyan stated.

The Prime Minister mentioned that such a conference will be held annually in the capital of the country that presides over the EAEU. Armenia is chairing the Eurasian Economic Union in 2019. On October 1, narrow and expanded sessions of the EAEU Supreme Council took place in Yerevan.
