Hovhannes Igityan's Position in PACE is Wobbling
"Zhoghovurd" newspaper writes: The Armenian delegation at PACE will see its governmental representative Hovhannes Igityan participate for the last time in the upcoming session starting Monday in Strasbourg.
It should be recalled that on September 1, "Zhoghovurd" reported that the issue of replacing Hovhannes Igityan with another deputy was being discussed within the "My Step" parliamentary group and the Armenian delegation at PACE.
According to our information, Igityan's position in the delegation weakened after he did not participate in the vote on restoring the voting rights of the Russian delegation on June 24, and there were rumors that he had an agreement with Ukrainian deputies to abstain from the voting.
More details in today's issue of the newspaper.
