National Assembly Exerts Total Pressure on the Constitutional Court – Levon Kocharian
Levon Kocharian, son of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian and a defendant in the March 1 case, believes that the National Assembly's 'My Step' faction is applying pressure by announcing the process to suspend the powers of the Constitutional Court President.
“Yesterday's total pressures on the Constitutional Court were a direct message to today's judge. Let's see what decision will be made,” Levon Kocharian stated in a press briefing with journalists.
According to Levon Kocharian, the timing of such a statement was intentional, coming right before the judge's decision on the case involving Kocharian and others.
