‘Zhoghovurd’. General Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan Sued Again
‘Zhoghovurd’ newspaper reports: According to information from ‘Zhoghovurd’ daily, the wave of discontent among prosecutors regarding the decisions made by the General Prosecutor of Armenia, Arthur Davtyan, is gaining new momentum. The head of the Division for Supervision over the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases at the General Prosecutor's Office has sued General Prosecutor Arthur Davtyan again.
However, according to rumors circulating within the Prosecutor's Office, the internal conflicts between the prosecutors and the General Prosecutor are escalating, as a number of prosecutors are unwilling to accept the decisions of Arthur Davtyan and, unable to resolve the issue verbally, have turned to the court.
As a result, a year later, Vahagn Muradyan has not submitted to the pressure and has once again approached the court. Judging by the situation, another individual has been appointed as the head of the Division for Supervision over the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases, while concurrently, the General Prosecutor has imposed restrictions on Vahagn Muradyan’s work.
