How to Court the USA: A Closed Discussion Among Ministers

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "According to our sources, a closed discussion recently took place involving the Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs, along with several ambassadors. The topic was the military contingent sent to Syria, which has been negatively perceived by US authorities.

We have learned that a messenger from the US once again expressed dissatisfaction to the Armenian authorities, indicating that it adversely affects Armenian-American relations.

The purpose of the meeting was to understand how to navigate this situation and win over the USA. We were informed that a solution has been found, but it does not involve recalling the military contingent from Syria, as this would also create problems with Russia.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied the information about the meeting; however, we are aware of even the details of the discussion, which we are not making public due to national interests."
