Head of the Armed Forces General Staff Artak Davtyan Visits the Northeastern Border

On August 17, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan, made a working visit to military units located in the northeastern border zone of the Republic, as reported by the Ministry of Defense’s press service.

Lieutenant General Artak Davtyan was briefed on the operational situation in the border zone, the level of physical, combat, and moral-psychological readiness of personnel, the conditions of combat duty, engineering and fortification works carried out at the front line, and the tasks assigned to the units.

During the visit, the Chief of the General Staff checked the new field uniforms of the personnel, which will enhance the effectiveness of soldiers' actions while performing combat tasks. The weapons and ammunition stored in the newly constructed warehouses were also inspected.

Regarding issues requiring priority solutions, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia issued instructions to the commanders of the responsible units.
