Tragic Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: Body of 24-Year-Old Driver Found Outside Vehicle
Today, on August 18, a tragic car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 01:50, local resident 24-year-old Narek Harutyunyan, driving a Mercedes C180 with license plate 34 PD 365, was traveling along the Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan highway at the 72.3 km mark towards Ijevan.
He veered into the oncoming traffic lane, crashed into trees, and ended up overturned in a field after several rolls. According to Shamshyan.com, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was found by Sevan police approximately 10 meters away from the vehicle.
