Germany Plans to Deport Refugees Spending Holidays in Their Homeland
German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer has announced that Syrian refugees who spend their holidays in their homeland may lose their status in Germany. He added that local migration services will monitor the travel of refugees.
“If a Syrian refugee regularly spends their holidays in Syria, they cannot justify that they are being persecuted in Syria,” Seehofer emphasized, noting that once the situation in Syria stabilizes, they will address deportations.
