Discussion on Amulsar Issue Scheduled for Tomorrow at Government; Activists to Hold Car Rally to Yerevan
A discussion regarding the Amulsar issue will take place on August 19 at the government, with the participation of residents from Jermuk. This was announced by Shirak Buniatyan, an activist and resident of Jermuk, on his Facebook page.
“There will be a discussion at the government regarding the Amulsar issue. A meeting has been scheduled with the mayor of the Jermuk community, council members, teachers and directors, owners of resorts and hotels, as well as five residents opposing the mine. Therefore, we residents have deemed it appropriate to form a car rally consisting of over fifty vehicles instead of five,” he stated.
“Dear compatriots, Amulsar is our homeland and a matter for the entire Armenian community. All patriots can and are encouraged to join the car rally, both from Jermuk and along the route. Additionally, people can join us in Yerevan to wait outside until the meeting concludes.”
The car rally will depart from the Taxi Station Square in Jermuk at 07:00 AM.
