Elardi's Conclusion is More Negative than Positive: My Step Alliance MP Mikayel Zolyan

“Dear friends. After my post yesterday, it is logical for me to express my opinion on the issue of Amulsar. Moreover, it is no secret to many, and it would be more honest to say everything clearly. I understand the situation in such a way that Elardi's conclusion is not entirely negative, but it is certainly more negative than positive. In other words, this conclusion does not provide grounds to claim that the risks are manageable.

This was written on his Facebook page by My Step Alliance MP Mikayel Zolyan: “In short, unless I am convinced otherwise, I am against the exploitation of the mine. Of course, I am not an expert on this issue. Moreover, I am still continuing to study Elardi's conclusion and am open to any arguments and new information. But based on the information available to me at this moment, I can say that this is my opinion.

In any case, we must continue to study the issue, listen to arguments from both sides, discuss possible solutions and consequences. This process should be as open and understandable as possible for the public. I am convinced that as a result of sincere and constructive discussions, we will ultimately find the most optimal solution. Let us not forget that we all, whether we are for or against the mine, are thinking about the well-being of Armenia.”
